RFID attendance capture

Card taps stream to the dashboard in real time. Admins can manually correct any record via the web.

OTA firmware updates

Power on & auto-provision

An ESP32 device boots, joins WiFi, and publishes its first status to the MQTT broker — the server auto-registers it. No VPNs, no port-forwarding, no manual setup.

Secure MQTT publish/subscribe

Device and server talk over TLS-encrypted MQTT (QoS 1). Attendance taps, status heartbeats, and mode changes flow in real time; notices and OTA commands flow back.

Dashboard, alerts & OTA

The web dashboard and Socket.io push live updates to admins. Firmware updates are delivered as a signed download URL the device fetches and installs over the air.
